Police suspect the aspect of honour killing
KARACHI (Dunya News) - A couple was gunned down in Karachi's Korangi Industrial Area on Thursday, police said.
Misaal Khan and his wife Kiran were present at home when an unidentified gunman entered their hosue and fired shots at them.
The suspect fled the scene after killing the couple. Police were alerted by some witnesses and the bodies were shifted for autopsies.
The Korangi SSP said the motive for the killing and the identity of the suspect was still under investigation. He said police were not ruling out the killings in the name of honour.
Man murdered in Khanewal
An employee of a landlord shot his colleague dead following a quarrel in Khanewal's Narhal area on Thursday, police said.
Tahir opened fire on Shahzad after an exchange of arguments. Their master was present to mediate between the two at the time of shooting.
Th suspect fled the scene after hurling weapon in the air. Police rushed to the crime scene and shifted the body for autopsy.
